Re: Mobile phones 'harm blood cells'

Since Nucleic Acids resonate (mechanical vibrations) at frequencies around 1 GHz, transcription and duplication processes could be effected by CellPhone Waves; furthermore, due to tendency to resonate (torsion ripples), DNA is up to two orders of magnetude more absorptive of Microwaves than is the Water of the Cellular fluid!

Is the precautionary principle really worth the cost?

As a result of the last message about Australia's Centre of Research "Excellence", I have had several inquiries as to what one statement implies. The statement is from Vitas Anderson, the new Director of the Australian Centre for Radiofrequency Bioeffects Research (ACRBR):

“Indeed it would appear that the prima facie evidence for the adverse impacts of PP[precautionary principle] regulation is much more substantial than the disputed case for the weak and subtle bioeffects of no known health significance" (1)

Using the language of risk assessment's cost-benefit ideology, this refers to the adverse impacts of precautionary principle regulation as a financial loss for the telco corporations by placing limits on their commercial activities.

Examples of "adverse impacts" therefore can include regulation restricting the targeting of children as a consumer market, official department statements advising mobile phone users to restrict unnecessary use of their mobiles, etc. Much of the advice of the UK's Steward report on mobile phones would therefore be classed as an “adverse impact” according to the above statement.

Simply put, the definition of "adverse effect" takes on a whole new meaning (2).

Comparing this potentially huge financial adverse impact to the impact of "bioeffects of no known health significance" can only mean financial concerns rule the day. The fact that the above statement was made by the now Director of Australian research into mobile phone bioeffects is thought provoking, to say the least.

Leukemia drug slows beta-amyloid

This Rockefeller University news release also refers to an immune system molecule called "Notch." There is a direct connection between inflammation, immune dysfunction and all of the diseases mentioned plus every health effect mentioned by electrosensitive persons. The research also indicates "amyloid," whether beta-amyloid as found in Alzheimers' patients or amyloid (SAA) referred to as "reactive amyloidosis as diagnosed at necropsy in one of my guinea pigs, is caused by inflammation and resultant immune dysfunction.

Interestingly, this Rockefeller news release also mentions that guinea pigs and humans have chemically identical beta-amyloid!!!!! This may very well have a connection to the information I have on the biology of guinea pigs that indicate humans and guinea pigs also produce cortisol unlike rodents (corticortoids).

The necropsy information on my guinea pig who died from reactive renal amyloidosis is familiar to many on your list; however, anyone else who is interested in that information can either contact me or try typing "Joanne Mueller guinea pig renal amyloidosis" on the search bar. The necropsy does not include the metabolic evaluation per se; however, nothing that would explain my guinea pig's toxicity from a metabolic overload could be found.   In other words, "my explanation" in regard to my guinea pig's EMR exposure was unchallenged.

Watchdogs push for RFID laws

Wired News

RFID is too powerful a technology and Wal-Mart and its suppliers are too cozy with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security for the companies to be trusted with the data gathered from radio tags on consumer goods, say civil rights lawyers and a privacy law expert. But the companies, led by Procter & Gamble, are opposing RFID legislation, and want consumers to allow them to keep RFID tags active after checkout, and to match shoppers' personal information with particular items.
