Libya makes Obamas Final Four, too bad America loses

Look at Obamas record. Two wars he promised to end, but never did. Guantanamo he promised to close, but never did. The Patriot Act he criticized, but then extended. How about the torture Obama condemned? Yet now under President Obama we torture a U.S. soldier named Bradley Manning (of Wikileaks fame), even though hes been convicted of nothing. Twenty-three hours a day of sitting shackled, naked and freezing in his cell ? and this is how we treat an American soldier who is innocent until proven guilty under Obama? Mr. Obama, you?ve already won a Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing. Are you now trying to win an Oscar for impersonating George W. Bush?

Debate Needed on Libyan Intervention
Marjorie Cohn, WarIsACrime.org: 'Since Saturday night, the United States, France and Britain have been bombing Libya with cruise missiles, B-2 stealth bombers, F-16 and F-15 fighter jets and Harrier attack jets. There is no reliable estimate of the number of civilians killed. The US has taken the lead in the punishing bombing campaign to carry out United Nations Security Council Resolution 1973. The resolution authorizes UN member states 'to take all necessary measures ... to protect civilians and civilian populated areas under threat of attack in the Libyan Arab Jamahiriya, including Benghazi, while excluding a foreign occupation force of any form on any part of Libyan territory.' The military action taken exceeds the bounds of the 'all necessary measures' authorization.'
