If Rick Perry is an economic miracle worker, why are so many Texans going hungry?
Simple: because so much of his job creation is minimum wage.

Rick Perry: Darling of Bilderberg Group
By now, Republicans, particularly Tea Partiers, as well as many Democrats, have become aware of the threat that the very powerful and elite members of the Bilderberg Group poses to not only to our Representative Democracy but to our economic well being.
In 2007, Perry attended the annual Bilderberg meeting which took place in Istambul Turkey. Since then, he has been following many of the globalist agenda on behalf of these powerful individuals...which has provided credence to Perry being the Builderberg choice for President...as he was in 2007!
Should this come out in the main stream press, particularly FOX News, PERRY WILL BE FINISHED...PARTICULARLY AMONG REPUBLICANS!!!

Unequal Responsibility for Crime
Thom Hartmann, Berrett-Koehler Publishers: 'Every year the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) issues a press release on its Uniform Crime Reporting Program, which determines the 'Nation's Crime Index.' It reports crimes by persons - but it excludes corporate persons, even when the corporations have been convicted of felonies. In its entire history, the FBI has never issued an annual report on crimes by corporate persons, although its reports on crimes by human persons are well researched and well publicized. The upshot of this is that when you ask people how most money and property are stolen, or how most people are killed, they think of burglars and muggers and bank robbers and crimes of passion. They think of human persons. The reality, though, is that more money and property are stolen by or lost to corporate criminals than to human criminals.'

Perry Tales: Rick Is Not Who He Says He Is
Jim Hightower, Truthout: 'Presidential wannabe Rick Perry is flitting all around the country - hither, thither and yon - spreading little 'Perry Tales' about himself and the many wonders he has worked as governor of Texas. His top Perry Tale is a creationist story about what he has modestly branded 'The Texas Miracle.' While the rest of the country is mired in joblessness, says the miracle worker, his state has added 1.2 million jobs during his 10-year tenure. I have built 'a job-creating machine,' the governor gushed during one of his recent flits across Iowa, and a Perry PR aide smugly added, 'The governor s job creation record speaks for itself.' Actually, it doesn t.'

Hunger Rate Spikes in Rick Perry s Texas, Even as National Rate Holds Steady
Marie Diamond, ThinkProgress: 'A new report by the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows that household hunger remained steady from 2009 to 2010, even though almost 49 million people - a near record number - were affected by food insecurity. Some states even saw their hunger rates decline. But one glaring exception was the state of Texas, which has been hailed by Gov. Rick Perry (R) as a model for the rest of the nation during these tough economic times.'

Is Perry 'hypocritical? asking for federal aid?
Christian Science Monitor
09/07/11
Texas Gov. Rick Perry, currently a GOP front-runner for next year s presidential nomination, left the campaign trail in South Carolina to return to Texas to command what s become an epic battle against dozens of major runaway wildfires. ... While the wildfires provide an opportunity for the only sitting governor in the presidential race to display his leadership bona fides, the disaster is also leaving Governor Perry open to charges of hypocrisy from the tea party movement. Some small-government advocates are asking why Perry, a states' rights proponent and critic of federal power, is berating the Obama administration for dragging its heels in sending federal taxpayer money and resources to Texas...

Contagion in Rick Perry Texas

I have just purchased tickets to see the new movie Contagion, about a mysterious virus that spreads with deadly havoc around the globe. But after reading this article by the Los Angeles Times, I am realizing that the real health horror story is not coming from Hollywood but from Texas. That is where we are getting a real-world example of what conservative health care looks like, and what the entire country is likely to experience if conservatives succeed in dismantling healthcare reform.
