The cruelty that took place in Sri Lankan War is hard to put in words; it leaves you speechless. It continued to address the most contradictory question raised, The UN are willing to turn a blind eye; was it a systematic eradication of innocent Tamil civilians that took place during the war? The finger was quite clearly pointed at Mahinda Rajapaksa, the president himself and his brother Gothabaya Rajapaksa, the Defense Secretary.
We, the undersigned, call upon the world to support the establishment of an independent, international inquiry into the credible allegations of war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Sri Lanka during the final months of the armed conflict in 2009.
