PTSD: The Soldier s Private War

Robert Wilbur and James L. Knoll IV, Truthout: Matt Howard of Iraq Veterans Against the War says that military psychiatrists frequently label veterans as suffering from personality disorders or alcoholism instead of PTSD; this makes it harder for veterans to obtain expensive health care and other benefits after discharge.
