US assassination drone strike kills 29 in southern Somalia
On Sunday, the unmanned aircraft targeted al-Shabab fighters near the Shalanbood region in Merka town. Earlier in the day, heavy clashes erupted between al-Shabab fighters and Somali government troops in the same region where at least 24 Somali troops were killed.
