Regelbedarfunterdeckung durch steigende Strompreise

Die steigenden Stromkosten bedeuten für einkommensschwache Haushalte wie Geringverdiener, Sozialhilfe- und Hartz IV-Bezieher eine große finanzielle Belastung. Viele sind nicht mehr in der Lage, ihre Stromrechnung zu bezahlen, da diese nicht meist deutlich über dem Betrag liegt, der im Regelsatz für Energiekosten enthalten ist. Wohlfahrtsverbände weisen bereits seit einiger Zeit daraufhin, dass die Leistungen zur Grundsicherung angepasst werden müssen, zumal das Bundesverfassungsgericht dies vom Gesetzgeber eindeutig fordert.
