Union und FDP verweigern sich jeglicher Regelverschärfung. Mit dieser Politik des Nichtstun vermitteln sie den Eindruck, dass Skandale folgenlos bleiben und fördern die Verantwortungslosigkeit im Geschäft mit politischen Kontakten.

Kommentar von Volker Bahl: ''Heiner Flassbeck macht klar, dass die südeuropäischen Gewerkschaften über dem ''2-Prozent-Inflations-Ziel'' lagen, so wie die Deutschen eben darunter lagen, während eben immer wieder Frankreich genau ''richtig'' liegt. Nur, das Ziel für die Gewerkschaften müsste eben sein, diese Lohnentwicklungen ''untereinander'' zu koordinieren und nicht ''von oben'' das mieseste Ergebnis aus Deutschland, quasi zwangsläufig, ''diktiert'' zu bekommen, noch dazu mit dem falschen ''Export-Überschuss-Modell'' für alle. Ein gemeinsames Europa muss man sich eben anders vorstellen. Inwieweit diese Krise ein erforderliches solidarisches Handeln zum jeweiligen Nutzen aller ''eintreibt'', das kann man jetzt nur hoffen! Auch wenn hier schon ein Anfang gemacht wird, so braucht es wohl noch einige Zeit, bis die wirklichen Hintergründe, eben dieses deutsche Lohndumping, mit all den daraus folgenden Konsequenzen, gerade für Deutschland offen diskutiert werden.''
