Hartz IV: Anspruch auf Minimum 50 Quadratmeter Wohnraum

Alleinstehende Bezieher von Arbeitslosengeld II Leistungen (Hartz IV) haben in Nordrhein-Westfalen einen Anspruch auf eine Mietwohnung von mindestens 50 Quadratmetern. Das entschied das Landessozialgericht Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW). Der Anspruch für einen Single Haushalt besteht laut Gericht bereits seit dem 1. Januar 2010. Für Betroffene, die einen Anteil der Wohnkosten aus den Regelleistungen bestreiten musste, besteht unter Umständen einen Anspruch auf Nachzahlung unter Berufung des Urteils. Lesen Sie weiter:

Nach zahlreichen Urteilen: Leipzig hebt Hartz IV-Grundmieten an

Leipzig hebt zukünftig die Kosten der Unterkunft bei Hartz IV an. Statt 3,85 Euro pro Quadratmeter gelten künftig 4,22 Euro je Quadratmeter als 'angemessen'. Die Anhebung ist keineswegs eine Sozialtat der Stadtoberen. In zahlreichen Urteilen der Sozialgerichte wurden Jobcenter regelmäßig zu höheren Unterkunftskosten verklagt. Seit Jahren waren die 'angemessenen Grundmieten' viel zu niedrig angesetzt. Die meisten Kläger konnten höhere Wohnkosten einklagen.
