The Omar Khadr case makes a mockery of US justice
Omar Khadr was a badly wounded boy of 15 when, in 2002, US forces captured him in Afghanistan. As the dust settled on a suspected al-Qaeda compound after a firefight that July, troops discovered him slumped in the rubble among the dead, leaning against a wall.

Amnesty International says Omar Khadr trial should not go ahead
Amnesty said the USA had not listened to repeated appeals from the international community, including senior UN officials, about what it has called the "unfair trial of an individual accused of alleged war crimes committed when he was a child."
