"FULL SIGNAL" Wireless Hazards Documentary to Screen at San Francisco Library 11-10

Talal Jabari, ein Palästina-Amerikaner, der als Journalist, Produzent und Designer von Audio-Effekten bekannt wurde, gibt nun sein Debüt als Regisseur, mit dem Film «Full Signal». Der Film erhielt die Auszeichnung für den besten Dokumentarfilm beim internationalen Myrtle Beach Film Festival 2009.

Die Zahl der Handynutzer nimmt immer noch zu, daher steigt gleichzeitig die Anzahl der Mobilfunk-Basistationen (Antennen) um dieses Wachstum zu ermöglichen. Dies führt zu immer häufigeren Protesten gegen die gesundheitlichen Auswirkungen der künstlichen elektromagnetischen hochfrequenz Strahlung (Mikrowellen), die von den Anlagen ausgeht.

Durch massive Wertverluste der Gebäude rund um Antennenstandorte, werden die Betreiber gezwungen getarnte Antennen (tote Kamine, falsche Bäume, usw.) aufzustellen. Tatsache ist, das dies der größte Gesundheitsskandal zu Beginn des einundzwanzigsten Jahrhunderts geworden ist.

«Full Signal» ist nicht nur eine Stimme der Wissenschaftler, die die gesundheitlichen Probleme der Mobilfunkstrahlung erforschen, sondern auch der Aktivisten, die sich gegen immer mehr Mobilfunkantennen in ihrer Nachbarschaft wehren, der Elektrosensiblen (EHS), der Gesundheitbehörden, der Regierungen und Rechtsanwälten, die inzwischen mehr und mehr erfolgreiche Klagen gegen die Mobilfunkanbieter einreichen.

Der Film präsentiert ein breites Spektrum von Menschen, die Dokumentation zeigt, dass sich langsam ein Bewußtsein gegen die hemmungslose Ausbreitung von Mobilfunkmasten entwickelt. Nicht zuletzt durch die inzwischen als erwiesen geltenden Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit durch diese neue Umweltverschmutzung.

We have explained the radiation pattern of Cell tower antenna, main beam and minor beam of an antenna, who are at more danger, radiation norms adopted in different countries, calculations for amount of radiation the body may be exposed to with current radiation norms, epidemiological symptoms observed with proximity to towers, biological effects of these radiations - in particular the effect on children and pregnant women, case studies, impact on the environment - birds, animals, bees, plants etc.

Finally something substantial about Wi-Fi has appeared this month in the BCTF (British Columbia Teacher's Federation) Newsmagazine, which is delivered once a month to every teacher and retired teacher in B.C.

"Should Wi-Fi be Used in Classrooms?" is the first of two reports, the second of which will be printed in October. This one is written by Lynn Quiring and has good information and insights for teachers. Page 6. It's only "Wi-Fi 101" but it's very timely. Take a look and smile!
